Rector Search Committee Chair Response to Election of Fr. Jeremiah 9/13/23

We are all thrilled by the news of the election of Bishop-elect Jeremiah Williamson for many reasons.  One of the reasons specific to St Andrew’s is that the absence of a Bishop is believed to be a major obstacle to our receiving formal applications for Rector.

As one parishioner has suggested, “God may be the Boss, but it would be nice to know who the ‘Branch Manager’ is.”

It is our belief and expectation that this election and/or final approval by the full Church will begin to make that process move forward.
