**Worship and all events/meetings/classes/groups are temporarily suspended, as of March 16, 2020, due to the coronavirus. All of our usual events at the bottom of the page below are canceled for the forseeable future. Please check back for updates.**

The Church is the Body of Christ, and although we cannot at this time meet in person, we are reminded that the Church is wherever the people of God are. You can view St. Andrew’s filmed worship services on our new YouTube channel! Our first service, filmed for Pentecost with Mother Jane T. Brady-Close, is available by clicking here.

COMING EVENTS AT ST ANDREW’S:

*ALL EVENTS & IN-PERSON WORSHIP TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE*

• Love Thy Neighborhood Community Dinner!

Generally offered on the third Thursday of the month from 5:30-6:30pm. Join us for our free community dinner. All are welcome! Click here for the full schedule of upcoming dinners.

• Join us for worship!

We offer Holy Eucharist at 8 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings, in addition to a Tuesday Evening Worship at 6:30 p.m.

• Sunday School!

Every Sunday morning, we have a wonderful Sunday school class at 9:45 a.m. for our young parishioners. Centered around a lesson from the bible, kids work hands-on with our Sunday school teacher to explore God’s word, making crafts and doing activities. Children join their families back in the Sanctuary just before Holy Communion starts. We also offer a nursery service during our 10 a.m. Holy Eucharist.

• Men’s Bible Study!

One of the components of discipleship with our Lord Jesus is the study of scripture. Through that process we draw closer to Jesus and can attain a better understanding of how to follow Christ and bring others into his Kingdom. Recognizing that men have a distinct perspective on ministry, we would like to invite the men of St. Andrew’s (and men in the community!) to participate in this new Bible Study group. No special knowledge is required. Please join us for prayer, reflection, spiritual growth, and fun every Wednesday from 5:30-6:45 p.m. in the Gerber Library here at St. Andrew’s. Come any week you can make it!

• Wednesday Evening Laundry Ministry!

On the last Wednesday of the month from 5 to 7 p.m., we offer a laundry ministry at Supreme Wash Laundry at 476 Central Ave, Albany (please note the new location! We have moved to better serve our regular laundry users). We cover the cost of two loads of laundry (and the detergent needed for the loads), on a first come, first served basis. Anyone is welcome to stop by for the laundry ministry, either to do their laundry or to volunteer! Call the church with questions.
