• Love Thy Neighborhood Community Dinner!

Generally offered on the third Thursday of the month from 5:30-6:30pm. Join us for our free community dinner. All are welcome! Click here for the full schedule of upcoming dinners.

• Join us for worship!

We offer Holy Eucharist at 8 am and 10:00 am on Sunday mornings, in addition to a Tuesday Evening Worship at 6:30 pm.

• Sunday School!

Every Sunday morning, we have a wonderful Sunday school class at 9:45 am for our young parishioners. Centered around a lesson from the bible, kids work hands-on with our Sunday school teacher to explore God's word, making crafts and doing activities. Children join their families back in the Sanctuary just before Holy Communion starts. We also offer a nursery service during our 10am Holy Eucharist.

• Monday Noontime Book Study

The Gospel of Matthew: God with Us is the current Monday noontime Bible Study with Rev. Mary. Come spend your lunch break with some soul food! There is a work book available to assist us in reading and studying the Gospel according to St. Matthew.  All are invited! Sign up in Carmichael Hall or just come on Monday.

• The Rule of St. Benedict: A Reflection Group

The Rule of St. Benedict is based on Benedict's rule and motto of "pray and work." On Sunday, Sept. 24, our St. Benedict Reflection group will meet for the first time. Using the small text The Rule of St. Benedict, members will read and reflect together on this timeless book of precepts used by Christians since the 15th century. Claire Stahler will be introducing participants to the book and the process of reading and sharing together. We will meet following the 10:00 am service in either the Gerber Library or in the back of Carmichael Hall. Even if you are not sure about attending all the time (we may meet twice per month), please come and see if you might enjoy this as part of your Faith Enrichment.

• PAWS Donation Collection

Along with our usual September Focus Food donations we will be collecting items for the Damien Center PAWS program.  By bringing in donations of dog and cat food, treats, or kitty litter we will be helping AIDS victims who are pet owners. All items can be placed in the baskets at the front of the church. Monetary donations can also be made by writing a check to St. Andrew's and putting Damien PAWS on the memo line.

• Daughters of the King Meeting

Join us on Sunday, October 1 from 11:20 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a gathering about reviving the St. Andrew’s chapter of the Daughters of the King! We will be sharing information, meeting people, and talking about a prayerful life.

• Blessing of the Animals

Join us at 12:30 pm on Saturday, October 7 for a special St. Francis celebration, complete with Blessing of the Animals, pony rides, petting zoo, and a special collection to benefit PAWS.

• Progressive Stewardship Brunch!

We will be having a special Progressive Brunch on Sunday, October 15 to kick off our annual stewardship campaign. There will only be one Holy Eucharist service that morning, at 9:30 a.m., and the brunch will follow immediately after the service.

• Men's Bible Study!

One of the components of discipleship with our Lord Jesus is the study of scripture. Through that process we draw closer to Jesus and can attain a better understanding of how to follow Christ and bring others into his Kingdom. Recognizing that men have a distinct perspective on ministry, we would like to invite the men of St. Andrew's (and men in the community!) to participate in this new Bible Study group. No special knowledge is required. Please join us for prayer, reflection, spiritual growth, and fun every Thursday from 5:30-7pm in the Gerber Library here at St. Andrew's. Come any week you can make it! IMG_7604
